I am the creator of one of the more-and-more popular npm libraries (`translate`) and I cannot test it with Google Translate anymore, since I am scared of signing up for GCloud for this exact reason. One small mistake and all my accounts get blocked without appeal. Better not to stake your life/career on that! I'm also in the process of moving away from my gmail for this reason, specially with Inbox going away now.
