Why are there so many headlines about billionaires? Yesterday there was one about China having more billionaires. These guys can do whatever they want and I really don't care.
We should be more concerned about the lives of average people.
- krapp 8y agoThis is Hacker News, a forum run by a Silicon Valley venture capital company. A higher than average number of posters here either are wealthy, are trying to win the startup lotto, or just want to virtue signal as being worthy of elite capitalist status.
- mruts 8y agoWhy should we care about billionaires lees than anyone else? Are you suggesting that if a billionaire was, say, kidnapped, you would have less sympathy than if an average person was kidnapped?
