Bad example. The EU is not a democracy. It’s a union of democracies. You’re part of the union until you aren’t.
- lisper 8y agoOn that view, the United States of America is not a democracy either. Now, I grant that the proposition that the U.S. is a democracy is arguable nowadays, but not because it's a union of separate states.
- objektif 8y agoYeah it was not a democracy since politicians were allowed to be bought under the name of free speech.
