Not to downplay measles, but wait until mumps start spreading. The 10% male infertility rate and enlarged scrotums might change some parents minds.
- koheripbal 8y agoMy wife and I were watching Boardwalk Empire, when in one scene one of the children contracted polio and became permanently paralyzed. My wife was in tears and turned to me to ask how we can make sure the kids don't get it. "Luckily, the kids are vaccinated against that. It's one of the very first shots they get." Little things like that educate parents. Most of these traumas have disappeared from movies and TVs because we've most eliminated them.
