We're gonna need a lot of quality abstractions between now and then and pray we don't end in feature-flag fragmentation hell where those applications end up with specific, non-cross-platform requirements.
- muttled 8y agoI'm picturing a situation like the old Java app that handles remote console on some HP ILOs where you have to have a certain version of Java installed using a certain browser with a whole bunch of security exceptions manually entered. I know it's being planned specifically to avoid these situations, but that was the goal of Java, too!
