- argd678 8y agoThat’s been known for hundreds of years about linseed oil, and is one if the reasons it’s no longer used to waterproof clothing. I wonder what the circumstances were and what it was being used for.
- convolvatron 8y agoits still used very extensively in the surface treatment and sealing of woods. also in steel finishing processes for rust prevention.
