YouTube Wants Creator's Suggestions to Curb Misuse of Dislike Button
- yesenadam 8y agoThe title should have Creators' instead, something the first sentence of the article gets right. I thought it meant the creator of YT. >Apparently, the dislike button has been misused and YouTube creators are not about it. That's the subheading, which also seems wrong - there's a word missing, right? Where's that dislike button..
- smokeybear 8y ago> "Dislike mobs", these are people who, if upset with a certain creator or video, decide to execute an organised attack where they downvote or negatively review the content into oblivion.< this sounds uncannily familiar. Now where have we seen this problem before ? I think any dislike, or demerit should also require an articulated reason for such action, rather than the anonymous coward enabling situation that is current.
