This question needs to be broken down into two parts. Are they doing industrial espionage to steal tech for themselves? Yes, certainly seems so. Are they embedding hidden things into their tech to spy on the communications of their customers? To my knowledge there’s no evidence of this, but it feels like this should be a serious concern.
