Cancer Rates of Vegetarians
- stevespang 8y agoIf data existed for vegans only that might be illuminating. General vegetarians generally consume all dairy products which all originate from the same animals meat eaters eat, with all the herbicides, toxins, etc. Meat is full of free iron, which is toxic to males and to females not menstruating. Also, putting cancer rates aside for a moment, heart attacks and clogged arteries from meat eating must be huge (and profitable for quadruple bypasses). Read the China study on cholesterol. wasn't it 20 years in length. largest health study ever performed ?

Widespread veganism is perhaps a little young but we'd definitely have full lifecycle people (vegan from birth, born to vegans) so if there are epigenetic qualities to be seen we might begin to have data for that. I'm trying to decide if the source bias would be selecting only specific data. I think they're trying as hard as they can to state all possible constraints on what they show and they do shoe data with increased cancer risks. I would love to see what an epidemiologist and statistician said.
