- dannyw 8y agoIt’s fine, dashers are contractors and contractors are expressly allowed.
- olegbl 8y agoI have a hard time seeing the distinction between people paid by Google or Facebook to share their phone usage data vs people paid by DoorDash to deliver food. You're probably right though.
- HEHENE 8y ago"Here's a $20 Amazon gift card for taking a survey" vs. "Here's a 1099 for the $1,200 you earned driving food around last year." One is a consumer, one is a contractor.
- olegbl 8y agoDo they really get 1099s? TIL Seems like this doesn't apply then.
- burlesona 8y agoI think contractors working for your company is exactly what the enterprise program is for. Basically the public at large can’t get the app, but your company has a lot more control over its distribution. IIRC they can push updates and of course deactivate it on devices of people who are terminated, that kind of thing.

- pixl97 8y agoDo the dashers get a 1099? If so they may be considered a contractor which may be under the purview of said agreement.
