- kungtotte 8y agoI don't know what the legal situation is like for you where you live, but in my country it's definitely a benefit to get married if you plan on co-owning property or having kids. You could go to a lawyer and draft contracts and agreements over how things should be divided etc. in the event of divorce or death, or you could get married and literally everything is already covered by existing laws and you don't have to worry about missing a loophole.
