- darkestloud 8y agoThe process is a nightmare. I've changed 3 jobs under H1B.
- joshe 8y agoBoth great points, I'll edit to say "change jobs easily".
- doingmyting 8y agoNot to mention if you are applying for a green card you get bumped to the back of the line with every job change unless your i-485 approved
- winter_blue 8y agoNo, you get to keep your priority date. The priority date is whenever the labor certification ("PERM") was filed.
- firstplacelast 8y agoCan't have been that bad then. General employment is a nightmare, I've only changed jobs once in the last 8 years because it's so many BS hoops to jump through.
- what_ever 8y agoThe difference is person in H1B faces same issues as you but there are more issues which are frankly more complicated and time consuming due to visa related things.
