This is amusing to type, I guess, but not really true. Apple spent a huge amount last year: on stock buybacks (sigh), on building an enormous TV/film production studio from scratch, on a huge effort to develop self-driving cars, etc., etc. If Apple were doing anything remotely similar to "hoarding", they'd have more like $700 billion in cash right now.
