  It solves the problem of how to enjoy the sensory experience of human existence, for one. It also solves the problem of how to express complex and abstract human emotion and intellectual ideas in ways that would be nearly impossible to relate to otherwise. It helps bring large disparate groups of people together and supports the formation of happy communities... Provides respite from other more mundane, unsolvable problems... It solves more problems than it creates, that is for sure.
