This makes me wonder why people bother working for Instacart when there are so many alternatives. I googled for "service economy gig" and got this huge list:

I guess this Wonolo service is for choosing the right services to work for. Now I'm wondering how many Wonolo clones there are. :-)
- vkou 8y agoWhat makes you think these other jobs haven't adopted, or won't adopt the same 'business model'?
- afterburner 8y agoMany people are willing to work for minimum wage, so I'm not sure I understand your question. He didn't actually get 80 cents an hour, but he also didn't get the wage+tip he expected. Instead, Instacart got tipped, and he effectively got the regular wage. I hope!
