I'd agree if the time spent was the same. In LA it will take you easily twice as long to get where you're going with public transit.

- reaperducer 8y agoNot just L.A. when I lived in Chicago, I could have driven to work in 30 minutes. Instead I took a train and a bus 75 minutes each way and kept my sanity.
- trixie_ 8y agoI guess to each their own. Though I suspect the majority of people would rather spend 1 hour driving than 2.5 hours in a bus everyday.
