I agree with the comment too. The best way to know other people culture/traditions/foods is with locals. The "normal" tourist is (to me) a kind of lemming: they go by subway with a lot of bags with no respect with locals, they visit monuments with centuries of history only because they are mentioned in a flyer, they bought a souvenir because it's supposed to.
