It's an analogy and this is where it breaks, we could push it though - if parents have a baby, that baby doesn't have to pass tests to confirm it is their child and gets to stay in their home. If some random person claims they're your descendant, you'd have them do a paternity test. 3. I'm sure there are people who do that, but I'm not one of them.
