Here I was hoping for actual "old hardware"...sigh.
I'm in the process of refurbishing, possibly with some custom upgrades (ESP8266 wifi-serial dongle would be interesting), of a TRS-80 Model 100.
Days of runtime from a handful of AA batteries.
True, I won't be able to do anything modern with it - but that's kinda the point.
