I find myself wanting more specifics from this short essay. A lot is said by the author who has a vested interest in maintaining the status quo with vague references to UBI and other changes but no concrete policies that would actually implement real change in society. As is, the Silicon Valley establishment is certainly not invested in paying more tax, thank you very much. While I don't believe billionaires are inherently immoral, I would like to see sample implementations of UBI rather than yet more posts equivocating about it.
