KDE development in particular seems to have zero figs available for users with hardware limitations. It seems to me all sorts of apps are constantly building indexes and scanning my system, which might be fine on a fancy modern desktop, but not on the curmudgeonly junk I always end up using.

- Symbiote 8y agoThat's my one gripe about KDE. I'd like an easy way to disable these indices, since as far as I know I've never used any of them.
