I used eBay for buying expensive IT equipment (routers, IO accelerator cards) that quickly lose their value, as well as buying rare collectable items (coins, car parts for my old Audi). After reading the headline, my first thought was I will have to use AliExpress, but with collectables it's going to be harder. It's a sad reading, because there's always been room for department stores and for antique stores.
