My Dyson "stick vacuum" was the only Dyson I've ever owned, and it was total crap. I actually called them on the phone and asked why it turned off on me constantly (not overheating), and they said it was a design flaw with the battery in the handle. And therefore too bad. It was a pain in the ass the whole time we used it, and I will never buy a Dyson again. It was over $200, and its replacement was $30 and lasted almost as long (which was still super short).
