One reason is that technology has the ability to do trial and error through billions of generations in a very short time.
- root_axis 8y agoYes, but each "trial" exists in a simulation that is many orders of magnitude less complex than the one evolution used over billions of years. The result is that the knowledge learned from each trial is many orders of magnitude less useful.
