My first test on a monotype font targets similar characters, especially at small sizes: 0O 1l ~- }) … There is no tilde in Lucida's snapshot, but I would rate the font very low on the readability of the other characters. The other parameters (serif, form of the "g", etc) are of no importance to me if the first test fails.
