15 Excercises to Know a programming language
- michael_dorfman 18y agoHow about "Write a compiler/interpreter for language X in language X"?
- smanek 18y agoThat could be rather non-trivial for some values of X ... Maybe writing a minimal lisp like AWKLisp (with just CAR, CDR, CONS, EQ, ATOM, SET, EVAL, ERROR, QUOTE, COND, AND, OR, LIST) could be more reasonable.
- michael_dorfman 18y agoNon-trivial, but (even if ultimately unsuccessful) an excellent exercise to get to know a language
- JC 18y agoDamn, I suck. I can't do half that stuff.
