When security is only an afterthought, the product (and in this case, the entire discipline) will remain insecure for decades.
Just like security was an afterthought in the software world up to the late 90's. Software today is still written in C...
- userbinator 8y agoWhen security is the top and only goal, you'll end up with a dystopian prison society controlled by authoritarian governments and corporations. IMHO that's an even worse alternative.
