Sadly that's why I don't have a dog. I just love dogs, especially large ones. While growing up, there has always been a dog with me. At the time I was living in the countryside so they always had lots of space and could go inside or outside as they pleased. Now as an adult living in San Francisco, I just don't see how I could have a dog. Keeping the animal inside a small space almost all the time sounds very cruel. So I might have a dog again in 10 or 20 years if I move to the countryside .. but probably not before that.
