There are tons of tools in the open source world that are incredible and free. The assumption that you have to spend money on tools does not apply to software at all unless you are working in a proprietary ecosystem. What is the paid version of grep/ripgrep that works better?

    That is correct. Trivial example: If I say I'll do some work for free the we can assume you don't need to pay for it.
