You don't really need Makefiles until you don't have dependency management. If you just need 'shortcuts', you can just use python/shell/whatever scripts

- jermaustin1 8y agoThis is what I do. Batch/Bash scripts depending on the environment. OR (downvote me) I just scp the app to the server, then systemctl restart it!
- bryan2 8y agoI have done this in test environments with springboot + systemd. Man it’s a great platform.
