Aren't most "illegal immigrants" crossing the border legally (such as entering as a tourist) and then just never leaving?
- AnimalMuppet 8y agoI don't have hard data, but I'm pretty sure that the answer is no. The majority are crossing in an unauthorized manner, rather than crossing in an authorized manner and then overstaying the terms of their entry.
