The 90s had a lot of factors that led to economic expansion. Do you have data/research that explicitly links tax rates to that expansion? The numbers don't seem to add up like that to me.
- bryanlarsen 8y agoThe OP didn't say the expansion was caused by the increase in marginal tax rates. The coincidence does falsify the argument that raising tax rates would prevent economic expansion.
