Re @ascorbic, dude that works for me, but not for the vast majority of devs out there. strict should be default! I don't want to come to a team and start evangelising or fixing their fucking compiler errors which could take me ages.

- heisenbit 8y agoThis is understandable, however there are many projects you can join that got to the point where they can afford paying you by taking a few shortcuts. We are all standing on the shoulders of giants and these giants have been standing there for a while - they are anything but clean but they are standing tall.
