Author here - having caregivers certainly changes it, but I was focusing on a possible technical solution in addition to caregivers.
It would still be nice to have some impartial device tell you or confirm that what is going on, is actually going on.
- skybrian 8y agoOne thing to consider is that at the point when it becomes difficult to do everything on your own, family or caregivers or whoever is helping you need to understand whatever devices you're using and help you use them. Maybe privacy becomes impractical and other considerations like good record keeping become more important.
