Disagree. I homeschooled my 3 kids mainly because I lived overseas and wanted them to travel extensively with me. They spent most of Grade School home schooled and now are in public high school. They are way ahead academically and are strong socially, as are most home school students. 30 years ago these generations had more truth, but today they are super outdated. They FaceTime their friends from all over the world. They complete online community college courses in their "study hall" times at public school and complain that high school is so inefficient and that many of their classmates just do the minimum required of them. I wonder if in 20 years from now if the US system will still have high schools?
