It's the biggest failure of modern day education: an inadequate understanding of the basics of supply and demand. Such an irony that this is so prevalent in a city with one of the highest percentage of residents who have so called educational degrees.

- Mikeb85 8y agoEconomics is tough and because of the political factors, often gets discredited. People always come up with excuses for why the economics explanation is false and why you can blame someone else. Economics explains why SF is expensive, why Trump wants to build a wall, why the Yellow Vests are protesting in Paris, but if the explanations don't confirm someone's worldview they get dismissed.
