- billconan 8y agoSeriously? https://www.sleep.org/articles/depression-affects-sleep/ https://www.sleep.org/articles/depression-affects-sleep/ I had it, couldn’t sleep well for a month. My ex girlfriend had it, she couldn’t sleep for 5 days.
- depressed 8y agoMy experience was erratically alternating between not being able to sleep (sleeping less than four hours per night) and sleeping 12-18 hours per day. Either mode could last half a week, or a whole month. Many (most?) depressed individuals do experience sleeplessness, but that's not at all universal.
- GavinMcG 8y agoYes, seriously. It's an experience that some depressed people have, but it's not universal by any means.
