What is the time scale of "the photosynthesis process"?
- eklitzke 8y agoThe timescale it takes for a tree to grow. The carbon matter in wood comes from CO2.
- semi-extrinsic 8y agoIIRC for a field of wheat growing on a summer day with blue skies and no wind, the photosynthesis process takes just 30 minutes to deplete the CO2 in the air above the wheat. After that the process becomes diffusion limited.
