I very much doubt that this is going to be used for any stuff that's actually illegal. They don't need "hard" censorship resistance, they just need not to depend on a handful of centralized payment processors.
- nathan_f77 8y agoYeah I would be more suspicious if this was an onion site that you could only access through Tor. Today I learned that the US doesn't have any laws against hate speech [1], while most other countries do have laws [2]. I personally don't think that this is a good thing for the US.
