I have one of those old timey shaving kits with replaceable single blades, but I still ended up getting a Braun 9 series electric shaver. Sure, the manual razor gives you a real close clean shave, but it’s just not worth the hassle to deal with the brush and the soap and the blades and the hot water and the what not – the Braun does a perfectly fine job before I’m even done with prep work otherwise. Even though it was more expensive, the time it saves me is non negligible. I can imagine customers of this device making that very same consideration.
