- hjanssen 8y agoWhile this makes totally sense, it is just a part of solving this problem. Often, those files are hosted on foreign servers with next to no chance for law enforcement to get access and take those servers down. A filter will definitly help with the spread of these atrocitys, this also protects the dignity of the victims. Google does not show these search results so it must be entirely possible to filter them out. Why can't MS do the same thing for Bing?
- trumped 8y agowe have seen the fbi blocking content that was hosted in other countries... why put every and all companies in charge of policing? is law enforcement too lazy?
- hjanssen 8y agoBecause _Microsoft_ is sourcing and indexing these images, not the FBI or the general society. Going from there, i think it is entirely reasonable to see the responsibility with Microsoft.
- trumped 8y agoI think it is a good thing to have a search engine that indexes everything... it makes it easier for cops to do their job...
