Without even reading the article, I know exactly what they are talking about. I completely stopped using Bing a few weeks ago after stumbling upon the search phrase "nude beach" with safe search turned off. Do not do this.
- tantalor 8y agoElaborate? Is that phrase code for something? Does Google do something different?
- arbitrage 8y ago"Nude beach", and other terms related to social nudity and body freedom, have long been coopted by child pornographers and sex traffickers. It's a very common phrase that's been around for a very long time (decades) used by those in the CP community, often related to selling or buying images or videos.

- whoisjuan 8y agoFor some reason Bing is highly optimized for porn. There are a lot of memes that satirize about this. I think this was a strategy to lure users from Google, which is very restrictive when it comes to indexing and showing sensitive content.
- fooker 8y agoCan confirm, I use Bing only for porn, Google for everything else.
