Dindim goes off for months at a time,
swimming thousands of miles,
avoiding predators,
encountering other penguins,
better looking and more interesting penguins,
but in his mind there's a picture of a man,
and a location,
from many years ago,
that he feels compelled to return to,
every year.
I got a little teary thinking about this.

Couple that with de Souza's age and soon enough there'll be a time when they go to meet and one or the other won't be there.
