Maybe I don't have the ambition to be a billionaire, but I can imagine in some ways it could be easier with that much money. I am not sure that you have a meaningfully different quality of life of you have $5B than if you have $70B, particularly if your children are still likely to inherit from the total pool rather than one part of the divided pool. Seems like it would only matter if you wanted a lot of capital available to build companies or endow universities or whatever.
