I'm curious if anyone else has stomach issues after eating the Impossible Burger, the Beyond Meat burger, etc.? Something about the protein isolate or who knows what else doesn't sit well with me. I've talked to others anecdotally about the same thing, but is this a widespread occurrence?
It reminds me a bit of when Frito-Lay tried to introduce Olean into their potato chips and it gave everyone the 3's...
- scrooched_moose 8y agoMy girlfriend and I tend to get them about once a month at a local restaurant and have no problem with them. Could it be something else in the meal? For instance, our restaurant serves it with vegan Bun, Cheese, and 1000 Island dressing; all sourced from other local businesses. Maybe it's one of those toppings?
- wavegeek 8y agoYes I have the same problem, also the fake meat products are often loaded with ridiculous amounts of salt. The produce spiel claims reduced salt so it looks like this has been an issue with this product in the past.
