- dest 8y agoThere is already software to skip TV ads. Not perfect, but good enough apparently. For a short review see https://www.adblockradio.com/blog/2018/12/10/ad-blocking-tv/ https://www.adblockradio.com/blog/2018/12/10/ad-blocking-tv/ You could set that up on a raspberry Pi, to play IPTV. A pure HDMI pass-through may be expensive because of the HDMI acquisition-side.
