Yup we can only achieve world peace if it's just us who owns nuclear weapons. If the goal is really that, the U.S. wouldn't be flashing its nuclear arsenal.

- tivert 8y agoThe more people there are who can choose to use nuclear weapons, the greater the chance that someone will actually choose to use them.
- berbec 8y agoCould the same argument apply to personal firearms?
- cronix 8y agoEspecially when one of the countries has vowed, time and time again, to wipe another country off the map.
- philbo 8y agoAdmittedly it's a very small sample size, but fwiw history directly contradicts this assertion.
- berbec 8y agoVery true. When only one nation had atomic weapons, 100% of the nations with nuclear capabilities utilized them.
