Effective Java is somehow rated higher than Clean Code.
- nindalf 8y agoHave you read Effective Java? I'm not fond of Java but Effective Java is a good book. Can't speak for others but I learned more from it than Clean Code.
- akerro 8y agoCompletely agree, I found Clean Code highly overrated, Effective Java and Java Concurrency in Practice teach more valuable lessons, even not for Java developers.
- nindalf 8y ago+1 on JCIP, although it's a bit out of date. The best practices for Concurrency in Java involve CompletableFutures and it's lambda based API.
