We have birthday parties and celebrations all the time. Why? Because life is miserable and we should take every opportunity to celebrate when we can.
- leesec 8y agoDamn, hope you can find some happiness bud. I assure you not everyone thinks 'life is miserable'. I think life is awesome.
- SketchySeaBeast 8y ago> Life is suffering. Life is not happiness. Best you figure that out now. Well, that's wonderfully patronizing. >We have birthday parties and celebrations all the time. Why? Because life is miserable and we should take every opportunity to celebrate when we can. So finding reasons and opportunities to be happy is the goal?
- thedaemon 8y agoI didn't mean to sound patronizing. "The pursuit of happiness." There is a reason it doesn't say happiness. Choosing your own happiness, yes that sounds like a pretty good goal to me. One of the original replies here does talk about choosing to be happy. Which is of course how you become happy when you have no outside influences to make you happy.
