You're probably right! I agree with the long term argument, I still love my X and it was my reasoning behind paying the price. I do appreciate the fact that Apple still pays attention to things that are important to users like me, like the whole privacy aspect, keeping as much data on-device as possible. It's great and I try to keep that in perspective. It's hard to deny that for the last few years, they've been making gaffe after gaffe after gaffe. Delayed launches, increased prices, good products being discontinued instead of updated, announced products not making an appearance. It would've been unacceptable before Cook, now it seems like it's just part of how they do business nowadays.
